The last general meeting was held on November 2, 2019 at the cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the annual board meeting, usually held in June, has been cancelled. Please stay home if you can, stay safe and stay healthy!
The last annual meeting of the Board of Directors was on June 22, 2019 at the Nesbitt Memorial Library.
Texas Historical Marker Dedication Ceremony - April 28, 2018
The Texas Historical Marker Dedication Ceremony was held at the cemetery.
Historical Rural Cemetery Tour - April 14, 2016
The Nesbitt Memorial Library hosted an Historical Rural Cemetery Tour which included:
- Ijams Cemetery, Paulina and Jim Kearney presented;
- Borden Cemetery, Nancy Klauber presented;
- Osage Community Cemetery, Mary Anne Pickens presented.
Weimar Ladies Encore Lions Club - March 26, 2014
Mary Anne Pickens and Willa Jepson gave a presentation to the Weimar Ladies Encore Lions Club. The presentation gave some history of the cemetery and told some stories of the people buried there.
The last work day was November 8, 2014. Twenty people gathered to pick up and burn limbs and debris from the removal of 12 dead cedar trees. The last of the dead trees were removed by the end of 2015.
